| RL Games was created somewhere around 1984 when those of us involved ranged in ages from 10-12 years of age. In those days we played pen and paper role-playing games like Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, Boot Hill, Gamma World, Gangbusters, Top Secret, Star Frontiers, and Traveller constantly. We also had a love of board and war games of all types. At sometime the idea to create our own games came up and RL Games was born. The games collected here were all written by us between 1984 and 1986. All of them by hand in pencil and we played most of them relentlessly, as we were always excited to debut our new board game or role-playing game system. |
| The games were put away sometime in the late 80s and traveled with each of us through college and into adult life until we rediscovered them in early 2007. The games collected here are scans of our original rules and maps, without edit, of the games we could find. Each of them was playable, by us, when they were written, but we make no warranty of their current playability, as what makes sense to a 12 year old in 1985 may not make sense to anyone in 2007. |
